LEJOG is a classic challenge across the entire length of mainland Britain, from the Southwest tip of England to the Northeast tip of Scotland.

WHY? I hear you ask...
...Because I can, is my answer
Life is a journey and you never know when there will be a bump in the road.
My biggest speed bump to date was when I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma at the age of 40. With no family history of breast cancer, this was a huge surprise.

The start of 10 years of medication to prevent recurrence, monthly injections and daily pills. The start of regularly wondering whether any lump, bump, or unusual symptom is my worst nightmare... a recurrence.
I don’t want to think about that and I don’t want anyone else to have to go through it either. So anything I can do to help prevent new joiners to this club, I am willing to do. So begins this journey of a 1000 miles...
